RGBCMY Saturation Shaper Tool that works within the OKLAB color space!
Easily control saturation via a sliders and smoothly saturate the image overall or one of the 6 vectors for the specific needed color! You'll also have sliders for subtractive saturation, soft-clip, color boost, and many more! I prefer to saturate my image within OKLAB to get a more perceptionally uniform result. I took a talk from Dr. Mitch Bogdanowicz as inspiration for this as he stated that he adjusted the saturation of a showLUT within LAB (for the very same reasons)!

This also answers the question you may have: why buy this saturation shaper tool if there are a lot of others already available out there + Resolve also has 5 or more native saturation controls too?
The answer is very simple: this one uses a unique color space which none of the other tools has (they mostly work within HSV/HSL or the fancier ones within spherical which is also an amazing and elegant way to add saturation!). I personally don‘t want to limit myself to not get the best possible result by just not having the right tool at hand. Even though if the differences to another tool may are really small – these are the details that matter – so go and try them out!

Here’s a DCTL that finally carries forward Paul Dore | Baldavenger’s approach, integrating the OKLab color space into it. The subtractive control is extremely useful for achieving greater precision, and the vector handling simplifies saturation management. I can’t wait to test future updates, which will surely be very interesting.
